Election Day

I don't know how this is going to work out. I hope that a huge onslaught of normal people from all walks of life who aren't snowed by this, this cult, or whatever it is that currently is in power, votes it out. Decisively.

Wishful thinking I know.

The lines seemed long this morning. People are fired up. An ancient man with a cane and thick glasses cut in front of us this morning to vote. I was happy he was making the effort. I hope this is a good sign.

Four more years of Bush will mean more corporate handouts, more pollution, more violations of our civil rights, less rights for women, less rights for gays, more dead people in the name of "freedom is on the march."

Whatever happens, I'm doing like reader AT says and going on a "news fast." Unless, Kerry wins and I will revel in it!

It will be over soon, thankfully. We will survive either way.
