Dulles, Solved

So, we avoided all that herding at Dulles that I cannot stand. Here's how: (if your trip is short) cough up the extra $6 a day and park in the daily parking and not the economy ($15 vs. $9 a day). Now you can walk to the terminal and avoid the shuttle. Once you check in, there is a way to walk to Terminal B and avoid the people mover.

So I don't like being so close to everyone. Sue me. Besides, the exercise is good.

The trip was fun, the wedding nice, the people friendly and drunk. What more could you ask?

OK, Monday off would be nice....

Slow Update

Man I'm like tired. I don't know what it is. We are going out of town this weekend to a wedding. I'll be leaving work early today.

I had a new hire start last week. I think she will work out fine. I'm just having to spend all this time explaing everything to her. o well.

New jobs: always weird sizing everybody up, figuring out everyone's angles, personalities, etc. I figure this is my 5th job since college. That's around 1 every 4 years. Is that the average?

I LOVE flying out of Dulles. You get to board TWICE! I love boarding! It's almost as good as sitting in the middle.

Metro had extra policemens out today. I suppose it is because of the explosions in London. Makes you want to drive to work again...
